Refund Policy

1. General

This Refund Policy applies to purchases of Car alert plans processed through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you also accept this policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

2. One-time plans (30 and 90 days)

30-day and 90-day plans are one-time payments that activate access immediately after successful payment.

Because digital access begins right away, EU consumers acknowledge that the right of withdrawal may not apply once the Service has started, as described in our Terms of Service.

If you were charged in error (duplicate payment, technical failure without access granted), contact contact@caralert.lv within 14 days and we will review a full refund.

3. Pro subscription (monthly)

The Pro plan renews automatically each month until you cancel through the Stripe customer portal (accessible from the Billing page) or by contacting us.

Cancellation stops future renewals. Already-paid periods remain active until the end of the current billing cycle. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months unless required by law.

If a renewal was unauthorised or made in clear error, contact us within 14 days of the charge.

4. How to request a refund

Email contact@caralert.lv with your account username, payment date, and reason for the request. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

Approved refunds are processed through Stripe to your original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer.

5. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve the issue quickly. Accounts associated with abusive chargebacks may be suspended.
